What to Do in Chicago with the Kids on MLK Day

  1. Make-a-Mess this Monday. Spend the day in Glenview and make a mess with the kids. If you have the whole day to play, hit the Kohl’s Children’s Museum first to take in some of their interactive exhibits. Then, grab lunch at one of the restaurants in The Glen like Eggsperience or El Jardin. Then head over to Make-a-Messterpiece to have a blast making a mess. The kids will love the Wild Indoors and Stay Active themes as they cook, create, bang, and generally have fun at the various activity stations.
  2. Act like a Tourist – Monday is the perfect day to head over the Shedd Aquarium since admission is FREE! Then, if your kids get Tuesday off as well, like mine, head over to the Field Museum for one of their Free Days. Monday is also a free day at the Museum of Science and Industry. Don’t miss the Jim Henson exhibit! The exhibit closes Jan. 23rd and those additional tickets aren’t free so go online and buy them now.
  3. Hit the Matinee. Most movie theaters offer discounted matinee movie tickets. So, take advantage of the day off to go see an early movie with the kids. Call your local theater first or check fandango.com to double check the discounted movie times.
  4. Go sledding. According to the weather report, we should still have snow on Monday so grab your sleds and heat up some hot cocoa. If you don’t have a favorite sledding hill already, check this site to find one in your county.

Hi fellows! Good website. I’m sorry for the offtopic, but are you informed of the fact that currently is the political election day in Russian federation. Putin is believed to obtain over 60% of the ballots. Now i am enjoying a live tv show currently talking over the final results of the election. The Russians want to present the current elections as democratic. There is competition but technologically there is certainly none.  Putin is actually the only challenger, all of those other guys are trash can. It’s amusing that he is gonna serve for the third time period, and I am convinced another 4th term how i could prevent the holocaust essay. Imagine we have George Bush follow Obama. Wouldn’t that be a dismay?
